We are a dedicated analytical laboratory. Manufacturers and suppliers send us their compounds; we test what is actually in the vial and issue a certificate that reflects the real, measured result — nothing else.

Our process

How a sample becomes a certificate.

A controlled chain of custody from the moment a batch arrives to the moment its certificate is registered.

Intake & chain of custody

Batches are logged, assigned a unique identifier and handled under documented chain-of-custody controls.

Preparation

Samples are prepared and reconstituted to method specification alongside certified reference standards.

Analysis

Purity is measured by HPLC and identity confirmed by mass spectrometry, each run reviewed by an analyst.

Certification

The measured result is recorded to a Certificate of Analysis with a unique task number in our permanent register.

Novagen Laboratories is an independent analytical laboratory operating from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our work is carried out by a team of qualified analytical scientists whose careers span pharmaceutical, peptide and chemical testing.

Because every peptide we assess is examined by multiple analysts and cross-checked against reference standards, the result on a certificate reflects a rigorous, repeatable process — not a single opinion.

Who we test for

Companies & suppliers only.

We work with manufacturers and suppliers, not individuals. We do not offer single-vial consumer testing. Testing engagements begin at a minimum of 1,000 units per submission, so that results are statistically representative of a batch.

Why it matters

A certificate is only worth the test behind it.

Anyone can print a document that says “99% pure.” What makes a Certificate of Analysis meaningful is whether a real test produced it — and whether you can independently confirm that. That is the entire purpose of this laboratory and this register.
